BMC FB01034 AIR FILTER FOR BMW M5 (F90) / M8 (F91 / F92)

The panel air filter, also known as a replacement air filter, is designed to fit directly into the vehicle’s original airbox as a direct replacement for the OEM air filter. It is manufactured using high-performance materials that deliver increased airflow while ensuring superior filtration efficiency, trapping impurities as small as 7 microns (compared to the OEM standard of 10 microns).

BMC air filters are produced using an advanced Full Moulding system. This process creates the iconic red filter from a single mould with no welded joints, eliminating weak points and reducing the risk of breakage. The rubber used in BMC air filtering systems is highly durable, long-lasting, and designed to provide excellent adhesion to all airbox shapes.

The filtering media consists of a multi-layered oiled cotton gauze, treated with low-viscosity oil and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh. This construction ensures resistance against petrol fumes and prevents oxidation caused by air humidity.

All BMC air filters are pre-oiled and washable. They can be cleaned and regenerated using the official BMC regeneration kit, allowing for long-term reuse and consistent performance.
